Power Distribution Challenges

Complex Power Distribution Requirements

Large-scale industrial, commercial and utility projects require multi-layered power distribution with coordinated protection, metering and redundancy across multiple voltage classes.

Short-Circuit Coordination

High available fault currents demand switchgear with adequate short-circuit ratings, protective relay coordination and arc flash mitigation strategies.

Multi-Voltage Integration

Projects often require both low-voltage (600V class) and medium-voltage (1kV–38kV) switchgear that must integrate seamlessly within a single power distribution system.

Reliability and Redundancy

Mission-critical facilities require main-tie-main configurations, redundant feed sources and rapid maintenance capabilities to minimize downtime.

Low-Voltage Switchgear Solutions

Our UL 1558 low-voltage metal-enclosed switchgear is designed for 600V-class power distribution applications with drawout or fixed air circuit breakers, compartmentalized construction and project-specific ratings.

UL 1558 Metal-Enclosed Switchgear

Low-voltage metal-enclosed switchgear with drawout or fixed air circuit breakers (ACB), compartmentalized construction and project-specific ratings for voltage, ampacity and short-circuit capability.

Main-Tie-Main Configurations
